As the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) nears its expiration date, it refuses to wilt like a dehydrated sunflower, preferring to dole out a few more exciting plotlines.
Andrew Pantling is one of the most exciting amateurs in the high stakes asylum, and when he flicks it in on PokerStars, he does so under the guise of ‘ClockWyze.’
He’s not bad, either.
The Canadian businessman saw his name etched into the winner’s plaque of Event #97: $5,200 Pot Limit Omaha Main Event 2nd Chance. Pantling defeated 167-entrants over two days to claim the $169,239 first prize. Noah ‘Exclusive’ Boeken chalked up a third-place finish a week after winning the $1,050 8-Game title.
21-players made it through to the second day, and amongst the 19 players who finished in the money were online high stakes titans Joao ‘Naza114’ Vieira and Andras ‘probirs’ Nemeth.
Here are the results.
